A GENDER BENDER THAT CAN CHANGE TRADITIONAL MACHISMO ATTITUDES Don Andres, a wealthy and powerful businessman, awaits impatiently the birth of his first born son. Simon is immediately the pride and joy of his father, but as he gets older his parents notice that Simon prefers to play with dolls and dress up in girls clothes. Despite his father's attempt to correct what he sees as misbehavior, nothing can change Simon's interests. Eventually, against his mothers protest, Simon's father kicks him out of the house. Simon goes to the city and gets a job at a night club where he becomes a popular entertainer. A year later, his father runs into him at the club, not recognizing his own son as the beautiful young woman he is talking to. Simon keeps hs secret disguise towards his father only to learn that his father's past is rich with secrets of its own.

Don Andrés hacendado muy poderoso espera obsesivamente el nacimiento de su primer hijo varón y asi asegurar su descendencia y dejar sus tierras y ganado en buenas manos. Asi, en el verano del "56 nació Simón el orgullo de don Andrés por ser varón. Sin embargo al ir creciendo bajo la dura mano de su padre y la sobreprotección de Julieta, su madre se dan cuenta de que Simón prefiere jugar con muñecas y vestirse como mujer. Ante la impotencia e ignorancia de don Andrés de no acceptar que no se puede corregir la naturaleza, decide correrlo de las casa. Un día el papa fue a visitarlo sin avisarle, encoutrando la gran sorpresa de encontrarse con una mujer que lo dijo “Hola, que tal papa, no me conoces?… Yo soy Simón, tu hijo El Gran Varon!”
